We have sold Monbana chocolate powders for years and years. The ingredient list is fairly short and the taste is balanced well for the crowds. If we were to run with really dark and wholesome chocolates, sales would decline, I fear as so often the draw is for sweeter and the biggest regular audience is a young one.
Salon de The’ is popular chocolate at 32% cocoa. Easy going/ crowd-pleasing and most popular.
Tresor: An Italian-esque thicker chocolate. 33% cocoa. It needs a bit of heat to thicken up.
Supreme: Stand a spoon up in it, thick. I believe some people have this for breakfast instead of cereal??
To make hot chocolate taste better, use less than the stated amounts.
