Some years ago we identified that not everyone wants fruity, juicy bright espresso. To make coffee more accessible to people who don’t live coffee we created Mille. The idea is that this is low acidity, with great body and roasted a little darker. This such a tasty coffee and easy to dial. Farms we use in Mille are all specialty grade and part of our normal range that you will find in singles.
Rich and chocolaty with a subtle hint of subdued stewed fruit. You can manipulate Mille to fit many recipes, but you really don’t have to up-dose or brew it close to boiling point….unless you really need or want to!!
By simplifying the ingredients Mille is and always was going to be a solid chocolaty number. To give you an idea, this is the tiniest bit darker than our other espressos….there’s no need for approaching second crack or tasting of roast….why would you?
